"You are witnesses of these things." (Lk 24:48)

The 2013 Easter message of the Reformed Church in Hungary is a video that examines what Easter means to 8-year-olds from class 2 B at Julianna Reformed Primary School. The students discuss why Jesus' death and resurrection is significant to them.

The 2013 Easter message of the Reformed Church in Hungary is a video that shows what Easter means to students from class 2 B at the Julianna Primary School of the Budapest Fasor Reformed Collegium. The story of our redemption is one with a deep and heavy meaning. With this video, the church wanted to discover what Reformed children thought about the story of Jesus' death and resurrection, and see how they understand the central event of Christianity.

"Jesus is the heavenly king, who can liberate them not from earthly but spiritual troubles, which is worth much more, and if your soul is cleansed, you will be able to solve these earthly difficulties."

This Easter message is tied together with the current educational campaign of the RCH. The campaign was launched, because parents of children attending any state-run primary school, grades 1-5, will have to choose before September between an ethical or religious curriculum for their students. The RCH created a website to encourage parents to research their options, and which includes important information that explains what a religious education program entails and why this path means a positive future for students. The educational campaign poster is the final image of the video that guides people to the website for further explanation and resources.
