Scholarship for Young Christians
2020. március 12., csütörtökKároli Gáspár University of the RCH founded a scholarship scheme to provide study opportunities for young Christian students who are living in minority in selected countries in the Middle-East, Asia and Africa. The University offers 5 full scholarship a year. Deadline for applications is 30th April.
Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary founded a scholarship scheme last year to provide study opportunities for young Christian students who are living in difficult religious minority situations countries of the Middle-East, Asia and Africa. The University published its call for application with the deadline of 30th April.
The Scholarhip is meant to be as a sign of solidatity and will to deepen the cooperation with those partner churches and organisations of RCH that are living and serving in the following countries: Egypt, the Lebanese Republic, Republic of Iraq, Palestine, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Islamic Republic of Iran. Syrian Arab Republic, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, State of Eritrea and Republic of Kenya.
Applicants should be full-age citizens, who are older than 18 years by the time their education starts at Károli Gáspár University; provide a recommendation signed by a church representative from the eligible Churches, and comply with all specifications of the programme they applied for.
Specifications, criteria for application and detailed description of the available programs, just like the online application form has been published on the official website of the University.
Károli welcomed nearly 90 international students for the 2019/20 Spring semester. International students came from 18 different countries, in the framework of various excange programmes, such as Erasmus + Programme, Makovecz Programme and numerous inter-institutional agreements. These programes are now complemented with the new scholarship scheme.
