Announcement of Bishop Károly Tóth's Passing

With deep pain, but comforted in the will of God, we announce that Dr. Károly Tóth, reformed pastor, bishop emeritus, on the of 16th June 2014 in the 84th year of his life, exhausted from his hard journey, finally went home to his Creator.
We say a final farewell to our dearly departed with a thanksgiving worship service on Monday the 30th of June 2014, at 11 a.m. in the Kálvin Square Reformed Church in Budapest and will then place him to eternal tranquility in Győrszemere at 4 p.m.
In lieu of a wreath or flowers, the family has requested that donations benefitting the Albert Schweitzer Reformed Retirement Home be placed in the money boxes located around the church or transferred to the current account number, 11100104-19024031-40000004.
Dr. Károly Tóth is mourned by: daughters, sons-in-law, a sibling and their family, the community of the Hungarian Reformed Church as well as Hungarian and foreign friends and acquaintances.
