Géza Soos, a strong member of Hungarian resistance during the second World War and Head of the Soli Deo Gloria youth movement was born 100 years ago. A conference was held on 27 November in his memory at the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, where his rather eventful life was recalled through lectures and devotionals. 2013 is also known as the Wallenberg year in Hungary, which gives the Reformed Church a reason to examine the lives of these two significant individuals together, in the framework of their shared mission saving many lives during the second World War.
